Who Qualifies for BeyondBasic^®:

You must be active duty military or a member of the National Guard or Reserve and meet one of the following qualifications:

• You must have a qualifying military physical within the last nine months
• You must have been accepted in (or completed) a military career enhancing school including officer training, flight school and many others.

Important: This application is for new AAFMAA Members only. You may only hold one (1) BeyondBasic® policy.

How to Enroll: 

To start your application, simply press the “Begin” button below. Follow the instructions to enter your personal contact and other information. Then select BeyondBasic® as the product for which you are applying.

The application process takes about 10 minutes if you have all the required information gathered before you begin. Your application session will time out in one hour, so be sure to save your progress if you need more time or want to return later.

What You Need to Apply: 

• Your Social Security Number
• Your Date of Birth
• Addresses of anyone who may be named in your policy (such as Owners and Payers)
• A Copy of Your ID (driver’s license or passport)
• Documentation proving the date you joined the military or the date you began OCS/WCSA
• Copy of Your LES 

You will be able to upload electronic copies of your ID, LES or medical information at the end of the application process.
